The residence is located in sub-urban area of Ahmedabad is designed for one of the prominent real-estate developers of Ahmedabad. The house is meant for a joint family having a couple and their 2 sons. It is planned out with a central circulation area and an over-looking courtyard which floods the central space with natural light.
The house has an east facing veranda at the ground level and a terrace at the upper level with a large softscape area to provide a fresh, natural environment.
Dining and family space flank both sides of the central court making it an integral element in the day to day activities of the home.
The external envelope of the home is pristine white with inserts of grey planes at the various planes and levels to make the compositions visually asymmetric and engaging to the viewer.
